Realme 5s design and battery specs revealed

Indian retailer Flipkart has a dedicated webpage for the upcoming Realme 5s phone. It will be official on Nov. 20 along with the Realme X2 Pro flagship smartphone. Similar to the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro, Realme 5s also features four rear cameras. The Flipkart web page has now revised to reveal new information on the phone.

The Realme 5s photo on the retailer’s site reveals that it has a diamond-shaped red back panel. In addition to the quad-camera system on the rear casing of the 5s, a fingerprint scanner is available. The right-hand side of the phone has a power button, while the volume rocker appears to be on its left-hand side.

Like the Realme 5 and 5 Pro phones, the Realme 5s comes with a waterdrop notch screen. Its side bezels are thin, but the chin is a bit chunky. The 48-megapixel quad cameras have been designed to produce extremely-detailed images that stay sharp even after zooming in. There is still no confirmation on whether there is a Sony IMX586 48-megapixel lens like the Realme 5 Pro or a Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor. The 5s gets assistance from a 5,000mAh battery.

More on the Realme 5s

BGR India reported yesterday that the 5s has the same specifications as the Realme 5. But the only significant difference is the presence of a48-megapixel instead of a 12-megapixel primary lens. Powering the 5s is, therefore, the Snapdragon 665 and 4 GB of RAM. It may come with 64 GB of native storage and support for external storage.

The 5s might have a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. Its back panel can come with a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad-camera system. The smartphone is like running ColorOS 6 on top of Android 9.0.

The 5s may be placed between the Realme 5 and 5 Pro phones. Although the information on the pricing of the 5s was unavailable at the time of writing this article.
