The OnePlus 8 Pro is at least half a year away from its official debut. But we’ve already come across a leak-based illustration which appears to show the OP 8 with a punch-hole lens. And it seems that the OnePlus 8 won’t be the only smartphone from OnePlus to exhibit a punch-hole aesthetic.

As of now, a bunch of new OnePlus 8 Pro renders has now surfaced online. That along with a 360-degree clip that gives us a glimpse of the handset from all angles. And this makes us see that the OP 8 Pro also appears to feature a punch-hole containing a single camera. Which means abandoning the pop-up camera module from its predecessor.

The OnePlus 8 Pro leaks come with the aid of 91Mobiles in tandem with @OnLeaks. The leak reveals the phone in a gray color with a lustrous finish. Also, the phone has a 6.65″ curved display with a 90Hz refresh rate. That refresh rate is equivalent to the OnePlus 7T Pro. But, the biggest visual improvement on the OnePlus 8 Pro will be the punch-hole camera. This punch-hole is situated at the upper left corner. Thereby discarding the pop-up camera format we saw on its predecessor.

Now at the back of the OnePlus 8 Pro, there’s a vertically aligned triple rear camera unit. But the resolution of any of the sensors and the type of lens they use is currently unknown. Then there’s also a depth-sensing 3D ToF camera at the back. The ToF camera is for applications such as 3D imaging and AR, among others. And the whole rear module is accompanied by an LED flash. Although, not much is known about the internal specifications of 8 Pro now. But the device will carry support for 5G.

The button arrangement on the 8 Pro is identical to its predecessor. With the volume key on the left, and the power button along with the alarm slider are on the right. The top is empty except for the microphone. Whereas the USB Type-C port and the speaker are at the bottom. Unfortunately, there’s no 3.5 mm headphone jack, and it’s not likely to make a comeback on upcoming OnePlus phones. The 8 Pro is likely to measure in at 165.3×74.4×8.8 mm. Although, design-wise, it seems that the OnePlus 8 Pro is not going to deviate too much from the OnePlus 8 which was leaked earlier this month.
