Few months ago the Redmi 7A was unveiled by Xiaomi will get his successor on September 25 with a better version named Redmi 8A.
It’s been confirmed by Xiaomi that it will have 5,000 mAh battery which is a slight upgrade to Redmi 7A.
Xiaomi’s official India’s site has advertised in their event page about faster charging with Type-C, better pictures and solid hand feel. It has also confirmed that the phone will be having thin bezels and will be having a tear-drop notch display.
This is just an entry level smartphone with better upgrades. Xiaomi’s India Managing Director, Manu Kumar Jain revealed most of the things that it will support USB Type-C port and fast charging. It will be only phone to have Type-C in this budget segment smartphone.
Few days ago it had received a certification from TENAA with acquiring a model number M1908C3KE. This phone only offers a single camera with offering a plastic body. The branding done of Redmi on below the camera line also adding up more “Designed by Xiaomi”
Expected Specification Of Redmi 8A
The device is said to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC with Android Pie and will come with three storage options- 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.
As for the RAM it will be available in three segments (2GB,3GB and 4GB) and the processor will be powered with 2.0 GHz octa core processor as confirmed by TENAA.
As for the cameras the Redmi 8A it will be having a single 12- megapixel camera sensor which is a slight disappointment. The front camera is rumoured to have an 8-megapixel camera for capturing selfies.
The body of the device is having a plastic body with an Aura wave grip design for a good hand feel. The screen is expected to be a HD+ resolution with a massive display of 6.2 inch. Luckily this device supports 4G LTE on both dual SIM slots.
For extended storage you will get an option to expand like in other Xiaomi phones. The device will be packed with their own OS MIUI 10 (would have expected Stock Android).
For now, we will be waiting for the official announcement from Xiaomi to reveal more about the device till then hold your breath for the “Dumdaar Redmi 8A”
